What the work covers
- Septic tank pumping
- Septic inspection
- Septic repair
- Septic system installation
- Conventional systems
- Aerobic systems
Pump the tank every 3 years. That habit heads off most of the expensive septic calls, because solids that are never pumped out end up in the drain field, and a clogged field is a far bigger job than a full tank.
The 2 system types fail differently. A conventional system relies on the tank and the soil, so trouble usually shows up as slow drains or soggy ground. An aerobic system adds an air pump and a spray or drip stage, which means more parts that can stop working. Clay soil drains slowly, which is one reason many rural lots here use an aerobic system instead of a conventional drain field.
Before buying a rural property, have the septic system inspected. An inspection tells you what kind of system is in the ground and what shape it is in.

Questions
Septic systems: common questions
How often should a septic tank be pumped?
Every 3 years. Regular pumping keeps solids out of the drain field, which is the hardest part of the system to fix.
What are the signs a septic system needs attention?
Slow drains throughout the house, a sewage odor outside, or wet ground near the tank or the field. Call when you notice any of them.
Do you work on aerobic systems?
Yes. We pump, inspect, repair and install both conventional and aerobic septic systems.
Pumping due, or wet ground over the tank?
Call and tell us what is happening. The estimate is given in person, after a plumber has seen the job.
