Plumbers in Lafayette and across Acadiana

We look at the job before we price it.

Water heaters, drains, sewer and septic, slab leaks, gas lines. Call and tell us what is happening, and a plumber comes out to see it. The estimate is given in person.

How it works

What happens when you call

  1. You call

Tell us what is happening and where you are. If it is an emergency, say so first.

  2. A plumber comes out

They look at the job itself: the fixture, the line, the heater, whatever is giving you trouble.

  3. You get the estimate in person

It is based on what the plumber saw at your place, and you hear it face to face.

  4. Then the work

Once you have the estimate and decide to go ahead, the job gets done.

Local knowledge

Plumbing here is not like plumbing everywhere

3 things about this part of Louisiana decide how a plumbing job goes.

Most houses sit on slabs
There are no basements here, and on a slab the water and drain lines run under the floor, so a leak hides until it shows up as a warm spot or a high bill. In older neighborhoods those drains are often cast iron, and cast iron wears out from the inside. See leaks and water lines and drains and sewer lines.
Past city sewer, it is septic
Rural homes around Duson, Scott, Carencro, Milton, Maurice and Sunset run on septic systems. That means a tank to pump every 3 years, and on clay soil that drains slowly, often an aerobic system.
Storm season comes every year
Hurricane season is why so many homes have a standby generator, and a generator needs a gas line, a pad and a permit. After high water, a water heater with water in its insulation gets replaced, not dried out.
